The course will build on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer software and hardware to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job.

Network+ course builds on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer operating systems and networks to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job in any type of networking career.

The course covers network technologies, installation and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security. Job roles include network administrator, network technician, network installer, help desk technician and IT cable installer

Security+ is an international, vendor-neutral certification that demonstrates competency in: Network security, Compliance and operational security, Threats and vulnerabilities, Application, data and host security, Access control and identity management, Cryptography.

Students will be able to administer and troubleshoot file systems and partitioning, logical volume management, access control, and package management

This course describe network fundamentals and build simple LANs. Establish Internet connectivity. Manage network device security. Troubleshoot VLAN issues, explain how STP works, configure Ether Channel, and understand the idea behind Layer 3 redundancy.

Describe IPv6 basics. Define the characteristics, functions, and components of a WAN Configure and troubleshoot EIGRP in an IPv4 environment, and configure EIGRP for IPv6. Configure, verify, and troubleshoot multi-are OSPF. Describe SNMP, syslog and NetFlow, and manage Cisco device configurations, IOS images, and licenses.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists.

The CCNP is appropriate for those with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions.

Those who achieve CCNP have demonstrated the skills required in enterprise roles such as network technician, support engineer, systems engineer or network engineer.
